Dr Adam Czerniak from the Collegium of World Economy of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) was elected to the board of the European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS), operating at Eurostat and the European Statistical System (ESS).
The European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS) is a joint initiative by Eurostat and the European Statistical System (ESS) to bring together official statistics producers and academic society at European level.
EMOS is a collaborative project of universities and data producers, aiming to integrate official statistics into statistical programs, meet the training and application needs of the ESS, and create a future pool of highly educated professional statisticians for the ESS and the European System of Central Banks (ESCB).
Dr Adam Czerniak will be a member of the EMOS Council in the 2021-2023 term as a Polish representative of universities educating staff for public institutions that collect and process statistical data.
