Dr Michał Puszczyński from the Ceramics and Glass Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław received a Fulbright Senior Award for the academic year 2019/2020.

The Fulbright Senior Award is a scholarship for scientific and research workers of Polish scientific institutions for the implementation of their own research projects in the USA. During their stay in the USA, lasting from 3 to 9 months, the scholarship holders can implement their own research projects at an American university, research institute, government institution or non-governmental organization.

For the academic year 2019-20, the Polish-American Fulbright Commission awarded 21 such scholarships out of 80 received applications. The scholarship is financed by the US Department of State and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
