The Human Trafficking Research Center of the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations of the University of Warsaw (WNPiSM UW) is inviting participants to a lecture by Dr Amy Weatherburn entitled „What is forced labor? Belgian and British experience”.

The lecture will take place on Monday, January 13, 2020 in the Prof. Jan Baszkiewicz Auditorium in the WNPiSM at 13:15.
Dr Amy Weatherburn works at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the University of Free in Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), and she is also a coordinator of master’s degree in victimology at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands.

Dr Weatherburn has implemented a number of different research projects devoted to the issues of forced labor, human trafficking and human rights. In the years 2017-2019, Dr Weatherburn together with the Center for Research on Human Trafficking WNPiSM UW implemented a research project on the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings in the context of sexual abuse.
