ADJ Nanotechnology, a spin-off company from Warsaw University of Technology (PW), has received the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland in the Research+Development category.

Started in 2019, the company is developing innovative nanoparticle additives with unique bioactive properties. The antimicrobial coatings have applications in paper and textile products.

For its biocidal nanoparticle composites, the research and development team under the direction of Dr Agnieszka Jastrzębska and at the same time President of the Management Board and co-founder of ADJ Nanotechnology, has already received a prize in the Polish Product of the Future competition this year.

The Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland is a prize for Polish companies that contribute to the development of the national economy, follow the principles of responsible business, promote a positive image of Poland and serve as a role model for others.
