Eight Poles receive medals at the Championships in Logic and Mathematical Games in Paris

Eight medals, including three golds, were received by Polish scientists at the XXXII Championships in Logic and Mathematical Games in Paris. This is the best result among all countries participating in the competition.

The best high school students in Paris were: Krzysztof Olejniczak, who won the first, Mateusz Rzepecki who won the second place. Gold medals were also won by: Łukasz Kalinowski from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań – in the category of students of post-secondary schools – and Gabriel Listowski from Zabrze in adults’ competition.

Silver medals were won by Damian Dąbrowski from Junior Middle School 16 in Szczecin – in the category of pupils of middle school – and Grzegorz Adamski from the University of Poznan, Grzegorz Adamski. The bronze medal in the competition of V-VI grade pupils was won by Alicja Mężyk from the Primary School No. 28 in Kielce.

The World Championship in mathematics has been organized in Paris since 1987.
