The University of Humanities and Economics in Elbląg (EUH-E) waits for the decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on granting the Faculty of Health Sciences EUH-E the right to conduct regular medicine studies.

– Demand is huge, doctors, especially specialists are pensioners to a large extent, and the supply of new cadres is insufficient – says Sylwia Sobkowiak, the head of the rectory of the Elbląg University of Humanities and Economics.

Two years ago, the opinion of the Ministry of Science and the Polish Accreditation Committee was negative due to the lack of a functioning an education and simulation center for students of the medical faculty. However, such a center has already been built and equipped. It will start operating from October 1, 2019.

The rectors of the Elbląg university expect that after fulfilling all the requirements, they will receive a positive decision from the Ministry of Science.
