Until December 7, a 23-person delegation from Japan, consisting of employees and students of three partner universities: Kumamoto, Sojo and Ryukyus, is staying at the Lublin University of Technology.
The visit is an opportunity to summarize nearly 36 years of cooperation between the Lublin university and Japanese universities. It focuses on research (mainly related to plasma technologies, renewable energy and the use of plasma in environmental protection), exchange of students and employees, joint publications, as well as organization of conferences and seminars.
-Lublin University of Technology underlines particular importance to scientific cooperation with Japan. It is a very attractive country scientifically, economically and culturally. We signed the first official contract in 1984 with the Kanazawa University and it concerned the exchange of employees and students – reminded Prof. Henryka Stryczewska, dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Lublin University of Technology.
