The Enactus Student Research Group of the University of Economics in Poznań received the main prize in the StRuNa-SCIENCE 2020 category for the implementation of the “diaBite” project in the most important national competition for young scientists. The 10th competition StRuNa-SCIENCE 2020 was attended by research clubs and project teams from all over Poland.
Poznań students have developed an innovative nutritional product in line with the healthy food trends. The worked out a replacement for a sweet snack – the diaBite bar. The snack was created for patients with diabetics, people with insulin resistance and people limiting sugar. The product is offered in ecological packaging, and part of the income from its sale will be donated to charity and for educational purposes.
Students of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań also participated in the awarded project. The initiative is supported by the Foundation for Creating Shared Value by Students in Poznań.
