From 23 to 25 March, Encounters with Science will be held on the campus of the University of Białystok (UwB). The university invites everyone from the age of 5 to participate in the activities.
The aim of the event is to disseminate and promote science and natural sciences. The event is prepared jointly by the Faculty of Chemistry, the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Physics, the Faculty of Mathematics, the Institute of Computer Science, the Centre for the Popularisation of Science, the University Library, the University Computing Centre and the University Nature Centre, reports UwB.
During the March Encounters with Science Open Days at the University of Białystok Campus, there will be a range of attractions for both organised groups (primary and secondary school students) and science enthusiasts and people passionate about learning the laws that govern the world. The aim of the event is to promote science, but also healthy and ecological food, says Professor Agnieszka Wilczewska, chief coordinator of Encounters with Science.
