The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) on November 18-20, 2021, hosted a meeting of academics, doctoral students and students from seven European science universities, grouped in the EUROLIGA organization (ELLS – Euroleauge for Life Sciences) and 3 non-European partners.
ELLS is a network of Europe’s leading life science universities, working together in natural resource management, agricultural and forestry sciences, life sciences, veterinary science, nutrition, food and the environment. It consists of the following universities: Wageningen University & Research- Netherlands, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna- Austria, Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague- Czech Republic, University of Hohenheim- Germany, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences- Sweden, University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Science- Denmark and SGGW in Warsaw. Since 2013, EUROLIGA consists of three partner universities: China Agricultural University in Beijing- China, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment – Israel, Lincoln University- New Zealand.
The aim of EUROLIGA is to prepare and conduct joint research and teaching programs, facilitate the mobility of students and academic teachers by simplifying the applied procedures, as well as ensure high-quality teaching.
