The National Science Center (NCN) received the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant for the second time. The European Commission is offering over EUR 8.8 million to continue the POLONEZ program initiated in 2015.

As part of the POLONEZ BIS program, NCN will invite 120 experienced scientists who will come to Poland to carry out basic research for 24 months in selected Polish institutions.

The scientist will receive full-time employment, financed mostly from EU sources, funds for implementing their own research projects and employing a team. The scientific offer will be complemented by an attractive training program developing the various competences of the winners.
