The European School of Magnetism will last until September 28, 2018. The event takes place at the Academic Center for Materials and Nanotechnology of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

120 young scientists and 16 lecturers from 27 countries are participating in the European School of Magnetism.
The main purpose of the event is providing specialized education based on Polish and European outstanding scientists and the newest research infrastructure.

This year’s theme of European School of Magnetism is “Magnetism by Light” – researching and controlling the phenomenon of magnetism by “light”, i. e. by electromagnetic radiation in a very wide range of frequencies (from radio to gamma radiation).
