Every fifth president of a Polish company graduated from one of three universities

The statistical president of the Polish company is 53 years old, with a diploma of a technical or economical university, most often from the Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw University of Technology or the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow says the analysis of the Rzeczpospolita daily. Almost every fifth executive director in Poland has a diploma from one of these three universities.

The Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) is at the top of the “forge of presidents” compiled on the basis of the analysis of the List 2000 ranking containing the list of the largest Polish companies.

In 2019, 7.67 percent of CEOs have had SGH diploma, 5.83 percent boasted with diplomas of Warsaw University of Technology, and 5.67 percent of AGH in Kraków.

Further places in the ranking included University of Warsaw (5.17 percent), Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (5 percent) and Poznań University of Economics (4.67 percent).
