Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Andrzej Szeptycki presented appointments to members of the Expert Team, which will be the main advisory voice in the creation of the National Internationalisation Strategy.
“We need a good strategy for the internationalisation of science. This document will show us how to do it effectively. I am glad that representatives of universities, scientific institutes and other entities operating in the field of science and higher education have been included in the work on the national strategy”, said Deputy Minister Andrzej Szeptycki.
The work on developing the strategy will take place under the leadership of the National Agency for Academic Exchange and under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. 24 members of the Team include Prof. Marcin Gruchała, Chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Schools, Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk, Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk, Chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Maciej Żylicz, President of the Management Board of the Foundation for Polish Science, and Waldemar Siwiński, Founding President of the Educational Perspektywy Foundation.
