The Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow has received the following certificates: Chemistry Eurobachelor, Chemistry Euromaster and Chemistry Doctorate Eurolabel for the field of chemistry as well as Chemistry Eurobachelor and Chemistry Euromaster for the field of medical chemistry.

Certificates were granted to the Jagiellonian University by the The European Chemistry Thematic Network Association (ECTN), assessing the didactic activity of the university in the education of future chemists.

The evaluation committee’s visit took place at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University in June 2019. The required accreditation fees were financed under the “Foreign accreditation” program thanks to grants obtained from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The European Chemistry Thematic Network was created by the European Commission under the Erasmus program. It currently has 120 members from 30 European countries.
