The Polish Accreditation Committee awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Education in the category “Partner for development – excellence in cooperation with the socio-economic environment” to the Faculty of Chemistry of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin for its chemistry course.

The Certificate of Educational Excellence proves the achievement of a high level of education in a given field of study, and it confirms a positive evaluation of the program for 6 years, supported by good practices in the field of education quality or documented, regular achievements of students and graduates.

One of the most important criteria for the evaluation of study programs by Polish Accreditation Committee is cooperation with the socio-economic environment and its impact on the design, implementation and improvement of the study program.

The Faculty of Chemistry conducts intensive cooperation with scientific and economic entities as the environment of potential employers for students and graduates.
