Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole to cooperate with the National Public Prosecutor’s Office

The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole (UO) will cooperate with the National Public Prosecutor’s Office. The cooperation agreement was signed by the First Deputy Prosecutor General, National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski and the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. UO Dr Paweł Sobczyk.

The cooperation between the parties will involve, in particular, joint research on crime issues, crime fighting and prevention, and crime control, as well as teaching classes at the Faculty of Law and Administration on the functioning and role of the prosecutor’s office in prosecuting crime and upholding the rule of law.

The agreement also regulates the participation of representatives of the public prosecutor’s office in classes for students; the organisation of meetings between representatives of the public prosecutor’s office and students to familiarise them with the tasks and functioning of the public prosecutor’s office; and the organisation of joint seminars and academic conferences on crime issues.
