The Ministry of Education and Science, the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the National Representation of Doctoral Students and the Central Office of Weights and Measures are organising the conference ” Personnel of the Future – 5 years of Implementation PhDs” on 21 October at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

The Implementation Doctorate is a unique programme created in 2017 at the Ministry of Education and Science. It was a response to a dilemma that young people faced only a few years ago: a research career at university or professional development in business? 

The Implementation Doctorate gave hundreds of young people the chance to reconcile these two development paths. Obtaining a doctoral degree without giving up a career has become possible. In order to combine career development, participants carry out scientific research to prepare an industrial implementation that is in demand by a company. Entrepreneurs gain a qualified, motivated and well-paid employee.
