The Faculty of Physics at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan is intensifying cooperation with the socio-economic environment. The university’s rector, Professor Bogumiła Kaniewska, signed agreements with the companies SONOVA, GNP Magnusson, Interton, Audika, Diatec, Oticon, KIND, JPT Vibro, DAARS. These are representatives of the area related to hearing aids, hearing diagnosis, assistance for the hearing impaired, acoustic measurement and analysis, and audio, photo and video productions.
The Department of Physics is in intensive talks with clinical centres, companies in the area of computer technology, information and communication technology, companies in the energy sector and renewable energy sources.
“I hope that in the near future all these talks will culminate in the signing of cooperation agreements. Apart from the unquestionable advantages connected with the didactic process, I can see a huge research potential resulting from cooperation with representatives of particular industries”, says the dean, Prof. Roman Gołębiewski.
