The Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts invites participants to the International Festival of High Temperatures. It is the only open artistic event in Poland, during which fire work masters share their knowledge and experience with the public.
The motto of this year’s Festival is “Art at the First Fire”. Professionals from all over the world will be presenting their creativity and skills from 22 to 24 June in Wrocław. Festival events are divided into three sections: metal; ceramics and glass section.
In the first section guests will be able to make small sculptural forms of aluminum, bronze and cast iron and observe the process of creating jewelry. In the second section, they will use a potter’s wheel without using electricity, in the third one students will show methods of blowing glass to plaster molds cast from wax sculptures. There will also be glass decorating workshops by grinding, sanding and engraving it.
