Until May 20, scientific entities can submit applications for access to research stations at the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Center. The Academic Center of Materials and Nanotechnology of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow invites participants to the seminar devoted to the use of synchrotron, which will take place on April 26.
The seminar will include the presentation of measurement methods. The application procedure for measurement time will also be presented. During the seminar, Dr Eng Joanna Stępień from the Academic Center of Materials and Nanotechnology will give a lecture “SOLARIS – the first proposals in the Polish synchrotron program.”
The entities can apply for time on three measurement stations: PEEM (photoemission electron microscopy), XAS (X-ray absorption spectroscopy) and UARPES (ultra angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy), which are placed on two currently operating measurement lines.
