Information technology, construction and automation and robotics were the majors with the highest number of applicants for studies at Kielce University of Technology (PŚk) in the first round of recruitment.
„We are satisfied with these results. They are at a similar level to last year’s”, assessed the rector of PŚk, Professor Zbigniew Koruba, during a press conference.
The university has prepared over two thousand places for the first year in 23 full-time study courses. In the first stage of enrolment, 2200 candidates registered.
In terms of the number of candidates, computer science (two people per place), automation and robotics, construction and logistics dominated. There was also a large number of applicants for a new course study business management launched this year with more than 120 students.
Over 800 people from non-European countries have also registered in the system.
The university is currently conducting supplementary recruitment for all fields of study, with additional recruitment planned for August and September.
