Foreign scientists to carry out research programs in Poland

09.07.2021

The National Science Center has published a guide for applicants within the POLONEZ BIS program. It has also launched a special POLONEZ BIS Partner Search Tool for scientists and institutions interested in participating in the competition, which will help scholars establish direct contacts.

POLONEZ BIS is not an ordinary grant, but a comprehensive program integrating research, internships in non-academic institutions and training courses developing soft skills. The National Science Center will select 120 experienced foreign scientists within three application processes. They will move to Poland for 24 months to conduct their research in public and private institutions.

Scientists qualified in the competition will receive attractive employment conditions – remuneration in the amount of PLN 53.5 thousand euro per year and research grants up to 100,000 euro.

POLONEZ BIS is co-financed by the European Commission and the National Science Center under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant. The first call for applications will start on September 15th and will last until December 15th.
