The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has joined the European Coalition for Dancing Research Assessment (CoARA), which was established at the end of September 2022 to carry out joint activities to change the research evaluation system.

Joining the coalition involves signing the ‘Agreement on reforming research assessment’ (‘Agreement on reforming research assessment’). More than 350 organisations from more than 40 countries participated in the work on the agreement, which was coordinated by a team comprising, among others, representatives of Science Europe, the European University Association and independent researchers.

Among the signatories of the agreement from Poland, apart from the FNP, there are currently 45 universities and science institutions, including the Polish Academy of Sciences, the majority of Polish universities and polytechnics.
