The PORT Foundation has established cooperation with OSRAM, thanks to which on the Łukasiewicz campus of the Polish Center for Technology Development will be built a modern educational laboratory of microelectronics and photonics to popularize these branches of science.

The classes and workshops organized there will be addressed primarily to young recipients: students, doctoral students, youth and children. Experts from Łukasiewicz – PORT will be involved in their implementation.

– One of the statutory goals of the PORT Foundation is to conduct scientific, educational and popularizing activities in the research and development projects, as well as to develop the talents and skills of children, youth and students – says Prof. Detlef Hommel, president of the board of the PORT Foundation.

The project implemented by OSRAM together with the PORT Foundation is part of the company’s activity under the Important Projects of Common European Interest program.
