Four Polish scientists listed among ERC Starting Grants laureates

408 laureates of ERC Starting Grants, prestigious grants awarded by the European Research Council, include four scientists from Poland. 

Polish laureates include Dr Katharina Boguslawski, from the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Dr Piotr Wcisło from the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Dr Rafał Kucharski from the Jagiellonian University and Dr Adam Klosin from the Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The ERC press office reported that the European Research Council has allocated a total of EUR 636 million for all grants in this competition. Projects will be implemented in 26 countries. Most in Germany (81), the UK (70), the Netherlands (40) and France (39).
