Fr. Prof. Dziekoński: In the age of technology development, it is worth dealing with the spirit

Innovation, high dynamics of change and courage in entering new areas of knowledge distinguishes us from other universities – said Fr. Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński, rector of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw.

– In the era of new technology, digitization, artificial intelligence, Internet of things, which are obviously very important in helping humans but we recognize also the worth of spiritual needs. It is necessary to strengthen those competences to bring us closer to humans. Therefore, the inclusion of the medical department into our university is even desirable – said the Rector of UKSW.

Fr. Prof. Dziekoński explained that some of the scientific staff at Collegium Medicum come from UKSW, some are experts who work in institutions contracted by UKSW. These institutions include the Military Medical Institute, the Mother and Child Institute, the Institute of Cardiology in Anin and the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.
