The Polish-American Fulbright Commission has announced the list of winners of the Fulbright Senior Award 2024-25 programme. 

The Fulbright Senior Award is a scholarship programme that enables individuals employed at Polish academic and research institutions to carry out independent research or research and teaching projects at host institutions in the US.

The call for applications for the programme ran until 16 June 2023. The competition attracted 101 applicants. As a result of the competition procedure, which included a substantive assessment of the project prepared by three independent experts and an interview with the applicants, 16 people from Krakow, Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź, Poznań and Gdynia were nominated for the scholarship.

The University of Warsaw has the most representatives in this group, with six. Four researchers represent institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
