Gdansk Medical University becomes a member of the Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged European University consortium

The Medical University of Gdansk (GUMed) has become a member of the Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged European University (ACE2-EU) consortium to form an alliance within the European Universities Initiative. 

The mission of the new alliance is to equip students, staff, researchers and external stakeholders with the knowledge, skills and competences needed to jointly address future societal challenges in Europe. Meeting them, including digital and environmental transformation and socio-economic issues, will ensure a sustainable societal transformation.

In addition to GUMed, ACE2-EU members include the Polytechnic University of Santarém (Portugal); the University of Applied Sciences of Carinthia (Austria); Constantin Brâncusi Târgu University (Romania); Goce Delcev University (Northern Macedonia); Kauno Technikos Kolegija (Lithuania); University Francisco de Vitoria UFV (Spain); the Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia) and Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Germany).
