Dr Hanna Wolska and Olga Zinkiewicz-Będzmirowska from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk were invited to implement an international research project on Polish and German legal professions in a comparative approach.
The project is carried out by scientists employed at Polish and German universities in cooperation with the Pomeranian Bar Association in Gdańsk and the Bar Association in Frankfurt. Its aim is to conduct scientific research within the framework of the Polish-German partnership through the analysis of the legal conditions for the performance of legal professions in the Polish and German legal realities.
The research project will also cover the issues of the tasks of professional self-governments set out in the Constitution. In addition, research will be carried out focused on the issue of professional ethics and standards constituting the source of enforcement of professional liability.
