The Gdańsk University of Technology advanced to the highest position in the history of the most prestigious academic ranking in Poland. The university reached the seventh place, advancing two positions from 2018 and maintained the fourth place among technical universities.

– We have been in the top ten universities of the ranking for the last two years. Achieving further promotion at this highest level is extremely difficult, that is why I thank all our academic staff involved in the continuous improvement of quality. Without you this success would not be possible – said Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology.

The ranking is based on the criteria of prestige, innovation, scientific potential, scientific effectiveness, educational conditions, internationalization of studies and the position of graduates in the labor market.
