Gdansk University of Technology begins cooperation with Warsaw Medical University

According to the Gdansk University of Technology, the University and the Medical University of Warsaw have signed an agreement under which they will cooperate, among others, in the area of the development of modern technologies supporting the progress of medicine.

The agreement was signed by Prof Krzysztof Wilde, rector of the Gdansk University of Technology, and Prof Zbigniew Gaciong, rector of the Warsaw Medical University. Both universities will support joint participation of scientists in international projects and foster the acquisition of funds for research, development and implementation work.

Within the scope of the agreement, the rectors are planning a joint strategic initiative related to participation in the competition for an entry on the Polish Map of Research Infrastructures. This is an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which is due to be updated this year. It brings together strategic research infrastructures with the highest potential for scientific excellence and consolidates research potential in areas important for the development of science and the country.
