In this year’s QS World University Rankings, Gdańsk University of Technology has maintained its position in the 801-1000 range. Over 1,600 universities worldwide were assessed in the ranking. In accordance with the rules of the ranking – only 1,300 of the best ones were classified.

This year QS World University Rankings, presenting the best world universities, covered 93 countries with 145 new universities included. In this year’s ranking, Gdańsk University of Technology has improved its total score from 12.8 points obtained in the 2020 ranking to 13.7 points this year. This result places the university in the TOP 62 per cent – i.e. by 5 per cent higher than last year.

Similarly, as in the last year’s ranking, the Gdańsk university obtained the best result in the area of ​​”Faculty / Student Ratio”, which analyzes the number of academic teachers per 100 students. This assured the University of Technology 446th position in the global ranking for this category.
