Two researchers from the Gdańsk University of Technology won grants in the Prelude 17 competition organized by the National Science Center. Young researchers who do not yet have a PhD title can participate in the competition.

Karolina Anna Górnicka from the faculty of technical physics and mathematics, thanks to funding in the amount of over 190 thousand PLN, will implement the project “Superconductivity in Laves compounds based on alkaline earth metals”.

Joanna Badach from the architecture department received almost 130 thousand PLN for the project “Spatial aspects of city ventilation management and air quality monitoring: integrated assessment method. Gdańsk, Poznań and Warsaw case studies”.
