Five scientists from the Poznań University of Technology win grants in the Miniatura 3 competition

Poznań University of Technology researchers have won 5 grants in the Thumbnail competition of the 3rd National Science Center.

The winners are Dr Beata Mądrecka from the Institute of Environmental Engineering for “Determination of the possibility of growth of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in biologically active carbon filters used in water purification processes”, Dr Paweł Mendant from the Institute of Automatic Control, Robotics and Computer Engineering for “Application of graph theory methods to classify unbalanced data”, Dr Eng.

Łukasz Knypiński from the Institute of Electrical and Industrial Electronics for “Comprehensive optimization of synchronous motors with direct start”, Dr Ziemowit Domański from the Institute of Mathematics for “Quantum mechanics in non-commutative spaces in terms of deformation quantization” and Dr Eng. Przemysław Głowacki from the Institute of Materials Research and Quantum Engineering for “Preliminary studies of the superfine structure in the manganese atom for applications in quantum metrology and engineering”.
