Dr Eng. Robert Bogdanowicz, Prof. of Gdańsk University of Technology from the faculty of electronics, telecommunications and computer science, and Dr Eng. Aleksander Hejna from the chemistry department of the Gdańsk university won the Intelligent Development Awards in the category “Future Scientist”.
Professor Bogdanowicz was awarded for projects. “Two-dimensional phosphine nanostructures – synthesis and research of functional opto-electrochemical biosensory systems”, “DiaX-plode Ultra-sensitive opto-electrochemical methods for detection of liquid explosives and products for their production” and “DIAMSEC – ultra-sensitive sensory platform for rapid detection of epidemiological and pandemic. ”
Dr Eng. Hejna received the award for the projects “Structure and properties of lignocellulosic fillers modified in situ during reactive extrusion” and “Development of technology for the production of foamed polyurethane-rubber composites for use as damping materials”.
