Gdańsk University of Technology will cooperate with Universita Degli Studi di Palermo – the largest technical university in Sicily. Thanks to the agreement, students of the faculties of Construction and Environmental Engineering offered by both universities gained the opportunity to receive a double master’s title.

The agreement signed in Palermo will allow students of both universities to obtain a double diploma, recognized on international labor markets and confirming the extensive preparation of the graduate to work in the profession. For now, the cooperation will concern two directions at the faculty of civil engineering and the environment, but the signatories do not rule out extending the partnership.

The agreement is another element of the university’s internationalization process, but also it is meeting the requirements of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education program “Initiative of Excellence – Research University”. The Gdańsk University of Technology is one of the main beneficiaries of this program.
