Gdańsk University of Technology to cooperate with foreign universities as part of the European University Association

23.01.2020

Representatives of the Gdańsk University of Technology authorities signed a memorandum on strengthening cooperation with universities from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany and France. The agreement within the European University Association will enable scientists from the University of Technology to exchange knowledge and experience at an international level and contribute to strengthening the position of the university.

– We are the largest university in northern Poland, and recently we have also obtained the status of a research university, which, in addition to prestige, will also allow us to develop our scientific and didactic skills. However, this will not be possible without cooperation and exchange of experience with recognized foreign scientists, which is to be granted by the agreement signed today- said the rector, prof. Krzysztof Wilde.

The European University Association is the largest organization representing universities in Europe. It associates 850 institutions in 47 countries with approximately 17 million students.
