Protolab III was launched at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Science of the Gdańsk University of Technology. It is the third laboratory of this type with the technical infrastructure enabling the development and production of any prototype.
ProtoLab III is a prototyping space for students and researchers equipped with high-class devices. The laboratory will implement new initiatives in the field of space technologies and augmented reality technologies. ProtoLab III can be used 24 hours a day, and the equipment can be rented through a virtual rental shop.
The studio has been equipped with modern 3D printing stations in FDM technology. The laboratory also has devices for eye tracking, research on reactions to external stimuli, raspberry pi and arduino sets, as well as a super-fast computer designed for complex calculations, including working with neural networks.
