The Polish Geotechnical Committee and the Geoengineering Department of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences are organizing the 18th National Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering and the 7th National Conference of Young Geotechnicians on October 4-7, 2018.

The conference “Challenges of geotechnics in Poland” is addressed primarily to designers, contractors, employees of specialist companies, academic staff, PhD students and students dealing with geotechnical issues.

As part of the event, there will be four thematic sessions: Research and parameter selection, Modeling and design calculations, Threats and securing buildings and Transport infrastructure.
