Digitalisation and decarbonisation of the fuel and energy sector is the keynote under which the international conference Geotechnology and Energy AGH 2022 will be held in Krakow from 19-21 October 2022. The event is a continuation of the Drilling-Oil-Gas AGH conference, which has been organised for more than 30 years by the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas of the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow. 

The aim of the conference is a substantive debate with the participation of scientists, experts, representatives of public administration, energy and fuel companies and the IT sector on selected aspects of the energy transition, as well as the dissemination of knowledge on the latest digitalisation and decarbonisation solutions for energy companies and the fuel sector.

Key areas that will be covered during the deliberations include: digitisation and decarbonisation of energy companies and the fuel sector, development of the renewable energy sector and the hydrogen economy, energy storage and transport, challenges of geological CO2 storage, environmental protection and energy waste management.
