Academy in Gorzów Wielkopolski signed an agreement with the local Multi-Specialist Provincial Hospital. This cooperation expresses the intention of the Academy to establish first degree nursing studies with a practical profile.

Pursuant to the document, students of the new faculty will have professional internships in the Gorzów clinics and they will profit from the cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, staff, didactic process, apprenticeships and research.

The agreement between the academy and the hospital is to be a remedy for the lack of nurses. The hospital has committed to admit students to take internships. The document expresses also a commitment of the parties to undertake joint ventures to popularize the issues of public health – including organizing conferences and practical seminars, publishing joint articles and scientific monographs on this subject.
