Government allocates PLN 70 million for the campus at the University in Lublin

The government allocated PLN 70 million from the state budget for the construction of a new, western campus at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. April 3, 2018 Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin and Rector of the Lublin University Prof. Stanisław Michałowski signed agreements on financing new University investments.

The new headquarters of the Faculty of Political Science, Institute of Psychology, Institute of Pedagogy, as well as the Academic Sports Center will be constructed in the western Campus. As part of the government’s support, the modernization of the Academic Culture Center “Chatka Żaka” will also be completed.

Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin emphasized, that this investment is a great opportunity to develop not only the Lublin university, but also the region. Today Lublin is one of the most important academic cities in Poland. Thus, this investment enables the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska to become one of the leading universities in Poland providing the high quality and comfort of studies.
