– We need huge investments in infrastructure, in energy, in education, in science, in higher education. In order to make these investments possible, we must really simplify economic law, remove barriers, invest in modern technologies – said Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The head of the Ministry of Science pointed out that Poland as a state and society should concentrate on the second development engine. In his opinion, apart from consumption, Poland needs investments and therefore there is an urgent to create conditions for much faster investments than in recent years.
In this context, Deputy Prime Minister Gowin mentioned the Łukasiewicz Network. – I’m glad that this network is launched, because it will be the third largest group of research centres in Europe. And the largest group of scientists. These institutes rather start cooperating e.g. on the commercialization of graphene, instead of senselessly compete with each other and duplicate their programs, – added Gowin.
