Graduates of the Silesian University of Technology have won in four of five categories of the competition for the best master thesis “The Best Progres 3 Master Thesis Award 2017”, organized as part of the Progress 3 consortium.

Only in the category of economics and finance the graduate of the Silesian University of Opava – Nicola Rusková won the first place. The first places in other categories were taken by the graduates of the Silesian University of Technology. Jakub Bodys won in the category of raw materials, energy and environmental protection. Kamila Dydlińska won in the category of health and applications in healthcare. In the category of information technologies and electrical engineering Krzysztof Kubiczek was a winner. The category of competitiveness of the machine industry and materials research was won by Paulina Cieśla.

The Progres 3 consortium includes fifteen universities from three countries – Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Each of the consortium’s universities could submit up to two entries to the competition in each of the five thematic categories.
