Head of the Ministry of Science appointed a new Scientific Policy Committee

The Minister of Science and Higher Education Wojciech Murdzek signed the appointment of members of the Scientific Policy Committee (KPN), whose term of office will begin on June 1 and end on May 31, 2022.

The Committee is an auxiliary body of the minister in the field of state science policy. It conducts an evaluation of the implementation of the state’s scientific policy and gives opinions on documents submitted by the minister.

The Committee consists of: Prof. Anna Chełmońska-Soyta, Prof. of veterinary sciences from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław; Dr Eng. Piotr Chołda, Prof. of AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow; Dr Maciej Duszczyk, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the University of Warsaw; Prof. Eng. Marek Figlerowicz from the Polish Academy of Sciences; Dr Agata Karska from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń; Prof. Magdalena Król from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences; Dr Anna Machnikowska, Prof. of University of Gdańsk; Dr Beata Mikołajczyk, Prof. of University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan; Prof. Marcin Moniuszko, vice-rector for science at the Medical University of Bialystok; Prof. Eng. Marek Pawełczyk, Vice-Rector for Science and Development of the Silesian University of Technology; Prof. Jacek Semaniak, rector of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce; Dr Rafał Wiśniewski, Prof. of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.
