The Public High School of Lodz University of Technology is launching an innovative “Pop-up Newton Room” created by the Norwegian non-profit foundation – FIRST Scandinavia.
The “Newton Room” concept was developed by a Norwegian foundation in cooperation with teachers, academic institutions and company representatives.
Tomasz Kozera, director of the high school of the Lodz University of Technology emphasiezes, that this is a modern, well- equipped classroom adapted to the aviation classes with airplane flight simulators, established in cooperation with Boeing.
For three weeks, from November 5 to 24, studio classes are planned for pupils of primary and secondary schools in Łódź, conducted by a specially trained teacher in Polish. The students’ task will be to carry out an air rescue mission. They will work in groups, make calculations and measurements to plan a practical reconnaissance flight using stationary flight simulators.
