All 10 scientific disciplines of the Opole University of Technology (PO) achieved the result of the right to award doctoral and postdoctoral degrees and to conduct education at the doctoral school. This is a historic result of the evaluation.
The scientific disciplines assessed include: architecture and town planning; automatics, electronics and electrical engineering; economics and finance; technical informatics and telecommunications; civil engineering and transportation; mechanical engineering; environmental engineering, mining and energy; physical education studies; management and quality sciences; and health sciences.
“It is above all a value for our students, who are the most important at the Opole University of Technology. The power to award doctoral and postdoctoral degrees means not only strengthening the position of the university of technology, scientific advancements of our staff, but also the development of educational opportunities for the students themselves, says the university rector, Prof. Marcin Lorenc.
