From March, students and graduates of the West Pomeranian University of Technology (ZUT) in Szczecin will begin classes at the Hydrogen Academy. The main objective of the programme is to train and develop specialised personnel in the direction of innovative hydrogen technologies.

The Hydrogen Academy is a joint initiative of ZUT and Grupa Azoty Police. It will be set up as part of the West Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley, which aims to create a Polish hydrogen industry through, among other things, the implementation of hydrogen technologies in the power and heating sectors, the use of hydrogen as an alternative fuel in transport and the development of technologies for the production, transmission, distribution and storage of hydrogen.

The first programme is open to BA and MA students and university graduates under 27 years of age. Applicants must show a grade point average of more than 4.0 in their studies and complete a project as part of the recruitment task.
