Ignatianum Academy in Krakow to hold a conference summarizing the program “Polonia Restituta”

The Ignatianum Academy in Krakow on 29 April 2019 will hold an international conference within the program “Polonia Restituta”. This will be the last of the meetings under “Decalogue for Poland on the 100th Anniversary of Independence” project. The originators of the Polonia Restituta program are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Council for Social Affairs of the Polish Episcopate Conference.

The Krakow conference will sum up the whole project, which consisted of 9 thematic conferences devoted to such issues as: family, work, entrepreneurship and social market economy, citizenship and patriotism, freedom, sovereignty and the rule of law, ecology, social solidarity and sustainable development, dignity and justice social, Europe and reconciliation, culture and identity, human personality, its rights and obligations.

The event will be attended by Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, Prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Integral Human Development.
